This position requires someone with the following:
Multi-phone line experience Great customer service Friendly phone voice Self-Motivated Can work in fast paced environment Familiar with medical terminology Multi-tasking ability Billing experience is a plus Good with money Comfortable asking for patient balances Responsibilities would include:
Checking patients in/out Scheduling appointments Checking eligibility Collecting appropriate co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance Collecting previous balances Setting up payment plans Schedule patient with appropriate Provider based on credentialing table Answering phones Sending messages to correct staff about refills, medical questions for patients, etc Providing the best customer service possible If you are interested, please respond to this ad with your resume.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
