) Coordinator and carry out all communications coordination duties consistent with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Schedule, conduct, and document training and implementation of M.
P.
D.
S.
/E.
M.
D.
Receive training in both police and fire dispatch procedures and work as a 911 operator/dispatcher when required or needed.
Review team member performance and make recommendations to the Technical Services Manager when deemed necessary and appropriate, provide feedback, coaching, and support to team members as needed.
Maintain operational knowledge of all communications equipment and platforms.
Understand and adhere to all documented clinical standards and clinical performance criteria as set by the Bixby Fire Department and the Medical Control Board.
Build and initiate a proper QA/QI process.
Participate in and support departmental quality improvement initiatives to include review and investigation of all calls, as set forth by departmental policies.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of current clinical protocols and standards established by the Office of the Medical Director/Medical Control Board.
Adhere to and enforce all safety standards and policies.
Adhere to and enforce all organizational policies and departmental procedures.
Be responsible directly to the Police Technical Services Manager Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements Requires the ability to lead and direct personnel during stressful situations, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
The ability to establish and maintain a close professional working relationship with all team members, demonstrating the values set forth by the City Bixby.
Must be able to work independently, with accuracy, while under limited supervision.
Must have the ability to solve practical problems as they arise.
Must have the ability to follow directions.
Must be able to meet the requirements of E.
M.
T.
or Paramedic job description.
Must be willing to work shifts and non-traditional work hours when assigned.
Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) EMD certification Current AHA CPR Certification Minimum of two (2) years' experience as an EMD dispatcher.
